Up-Cycled Jewels for the Vintage Bride

Today I'd like to shine a little spotlight on a lovely lady who is creating some stunning jewellery. Hattie Dunstan of Hattitude Jewellery is whipping up some one-of-a-kind pieces ranging from earrings to necklaces to headpieces.

What makes her work so unique is that she is using vintage jewellery and rebuilding it into contemporary pieces while maintaining the vintage vibe. I can't think of anything more eco-friendly than up-cycling these forgotten gems, by hand, in her Toronto studio.

I'd like to share with you a few pieces from her new Spring - Summer 2015 collection, Pearls & Promises. "Inspired by old world charm and bohemian allure" this collection is sure to be a hit with Brides this season! Or if you like big jewels that pack a punch, like me, these pieces are easily transitioned into a J. Crew inspired wardrobe.

The Emerald Queen

This piece is my personal fave so if anyone's looking to buy me something pretty you best snag it while it's still here! xx

Time Again

I think this delicate necklace would also be pretty styled as a head band or even a belt.

Sweet Peach

A fun piece that will compliment all the backless dresses available this season.

A Hundred Years

I love the precious combination of soft ribbon, classic pearls and a feminine bow.

Betty Draper

A classic piece with sparkle. Dress it up with lace or down with denim.
