LME was recently featured on the popular Green Wedding Shoes blog! As many of these photos have been used throughout my new website I wanted to share with you my design inspiration and the fabulous vendors I partnered with to bring this vision to life!
I was approached by Hattitude Jewellery and Magnolia Studios with an idea to do an inspirational boho wedding shoot. After seeing images of the rustic beach I was instantly on board. It was important to me to create a setting that was both unique and attainable for brides. The design was based around the pillars of the boho look: pattern, rustic elements and all the trimmings. To keep things bridal I used a neutral palette with lots of gold mercury glass.
A custom table runner was designed to integrate vintage lace and crochet which would incorporate pattern, compliment the lanterns and add a touch of whimsy. Trimmings included champagne fringe on the glass cake stand, tassels on the pillows and pompoms on the beach umbrella. Rustic elements were dappled throughout the design including the vintage bench and bar cart.
Place settings included ornate gold flatware, gold trimmed crystal glassware and baroque china. The formal settings were juxtaposed against the organic shape of the Oyster charger plate which complimented the beach setting.
Florals by Tanya List added life and a splash of colour to the table design. A trail of ribbons from each bouquet complimented the custom ceremony arbor. The wedding cake by The Wedding Cake Shoppe and stationary by Have and Hold Design both featured blush watercolour stokes and touches of gold inspired by our beach setting and luscious coral Charm Peonies.
I hope you enjoyed this shoot as much as we did!
