meet lucy

Lucy got her start in Toronto, attending George Brown College for Fashion Business Industry and Special Event Planning (although some might say she was destined for event planning, starting at an early age planning dinners + parties for family and friends). After starting Lucy Myers Events in 2012, Lucy returned to Huntsville, where she grew up spending childhood summers on the lakes of Muskoka, giving her the ability to couple her professional approach with an intimate knowledge of the Muskoka area.

Lucy’s parents ran an import retail business in Huntsville for over 15 years, which took their family on annual buying trips to Bali, Indonesia, followed by travels throughout Southeast Asia. This unique upbringing has provided Lucy with small town integrity coupled with a sense of wanderlust and worldly aesthetic that continues to inspire her designs.

Lucy’s aesthetic is ever evolving as she is influenced by interior design, photography, fashion, travel and decades past. The depth and breadth of her sources of inspiration provide versatility when integrating multiple elements to develop a look, be it for her home, personal style or event design. She is constantly challenging herself to create innovative combinations with personal touches.

The Month Of Coordinator

The Month of Coordinator is an excellent choice for our clients who have the time, vision + resources to plan their celebration but just need help with execution and management of their event on the day.

This service begins 4-6 weeks prior to your event and focuses on ensuring all your ducks are in a row. Our team creates a detailed event production itinerary and works with you to manage the flawless execution of your plans. This gives you the time to relax and soak in the moment with your family + friends or staff + clients.


The Month of Coordinator service starts at $2,500

All pricing subject to change + exclusive of HST

  • Up to 12 hours of Event Day Coordination:

    • Supervise vendor deliveries + set-up to ensure order fulfillment

    • Liaise with vendors + make final payments on your behalf

    • Hands-on styling of event accessories + signage

    • Direct guests throughout the various event elements

    • Cue entertainment, MC + speeches if applicable

  • One big meeting to go over your event plans + objectives

  • Attending a venue walkthrough with you to finalize details

  • Confirmation with vendors two weeks prior to your event

  • Creation of detailed Event Day itineraries for the client, event stakeholders + vendors as necessary

  • Coordinate post-event vendor return for tear down

the event designer

Event Design is a comprehensive service, similar to Interior Design, to ensure your celebration is stunning, on budget and comes to fruition seamlessly. This service is about creating one of a kind event décor features with magazine-worthy execution.

As a professional event designer, Lucy transforms your venue into a space filled with atmosphere. She loves the challenge of incorporating your company's product and branding into event details + installations. Through the careful selection of colour palette, layering of textures, application of mood lighting, music + even scent, we’re able to create a full sensory experience for your guests.


The Event Designer service start at $3,500

plus 20% of the Design Budget

All pricing subject to change + exclusive of HST

  • Communication with Graphic Designer for all event day signage (welcome sign, sponsor acknowledgment signage, seating chart, menus, programs etc.)

  • Sourcing of all design elements, such as furniture, lighting, linens, florals, from preferred vendors to custom decor pieces

  • Coordination of all Decor Vendor contracts, payments + set up logistics

  • Up to 4 hours of decor vendor set-up supervision + hands-on styling of your event décor to ensure each element is impeccably styled

  • Coordination of post-event décor tear-down + vendor follow up as required

  • A meeting to get to know the client + event objectives

  • A venue site visit to evaluate the architecture of the space(s), take measurements + confirm accessibility

  • The creation of an Event Design Mood Board to illustrate the colour palette + overall event aesthetic

  • Creation and management of your Décor Budget

  • The development of an Event Design Concept presentation detailing:

    • Design inspiration images + digital mock ups for various areas + displays

      • For example: event entrance area, welcome/registration table, VIP areas, cocktail lounges, dinner tables + food stations, etc.

    • Floor Plans

The Event Design + Month of Coordination package provides you with a custom event design, fully sourced and executed within your personal budget, and an Event Coordinator to take the reins on your event day so you can relax while your celebration plans come to life around you. With many of our clients leading busy lives outside of Muskoka - be it in Toronto or abroad - our fully comprehensive event planning service allows you to relax + allow the LME team to plan + design a signature Lucy Myers Events event on your behalf.

Our expert event planners, located in Muskoka, are here to take the reins and orchestrate your celebration flawlessly from conceptualization to execution, in conjunction with our crème de la crème of personally vetted vendors. 


In order to accurately reflect the scope of your event, the Full Event Planner service requires a minimum LME investment of $8,000 or 20% of the Event Budget, whichever is greater.
